Temperature and fan speed

Chocolate: Temperature & fan speed

Simplify 3D

In the simplify3d software page, click on Add to add process. FFF settings will pup up.

Simplify3d - Printing temperature

Click on Show Advanced. FFF Settings will expand.

Go to Temperature tab.

Double click, where is marking in the picture. Edit to the desired value of temperature.

Update profile after changing values.

Note temperature is at celsius.

Simplify3d - Right fan speed (F0)

Click on Show Advanced. FFF Settings will expand.

Go to cooling tab.

Double click, where is marking in the picture. Edit to the desired speed of fan.

Update profile after changing values.

Note temperature is at celsius.

Duet

Duet- Cylinder temperature at rest

According the chocolate quality, temperature of cylinder may need to be changed.

Under file management, click on system.

New section will popup. On fourth row, click on config.g.

Config.g page will appear.

Duet - Left fan speed (F1) - config.g

On config.g page, scroll down the pages.

Under Fans section There is M106 P1 S26 H-1 code.

In the code 26 is speed of fan. Fan speed can range from 0 to 250.

To changes the value in the places 26 with desire value.

Click Save to save data.

Changing fan speed while printing

This is shortcut way to changes fan speed while printing for current print file. Click on status.

Under Fans section. There is Fan 0 and Fan 1 , slide bubble to changes speed of fan.

It is recommended to use default low fan speed.

Updating the standby temperature

Access the UI from computer: Check the IP address from screen and connect in the same wifi.

Go to “System” tab->

Open Config.g: Browse and click other file named Config.g

Find the row M104 Scroll at bottom of page. At last row there is command M104 S**

Change the S** (default 38) to a more suitable value such as 33 or 34 for your material type.
